Mark, Thanks for the advice, our G3 /266 with 9.2.2 runs nicely at the moment, with Quark 3.31,Laserwriter select 360 and Apple 17" monitor. I favour moving to an eMac or used G4. Sadly this means upgrading Quark and getting an uptodate Postcript Printer,so moving to OSX is not without some consideration, runiing Quark 3.31 under Classic sounds risky.
You can at least circumvent the need to buy another printer by using an AppleTalk to Ethernet bridge (if the LW Select 360 uses AppleTalk and not straight Serial) then using the AppleTalk over Ethernet route into OS X. Available possibly on eBay or via the LEM Swap List. If you don't fancy that then you can use the G3 as a Print Server and install Appletalk Ethernet Bridge (an extension for MAc OS 7.1-9.x) that does it using software.
Once on an ethernet it should show up in the AppleTalk section of the 'Add Printer' dialog in OS X's Print Center utility.
My suggestion would be to acquire a G4 and OS X and move your life across a bit at a time, allowing you to get used to how each facet of OS X works as you do so. Once you have bedded in you can always use OS 9.2 on the G4 when required, I know upgrading software is painfully expensive, but OS X genuinely is a step up in stability and productivity and usability over 9.2 (well some people don't think it is but I just can't use 9.x for ling stretches these days - I can't flow around it like I can in OS X).
