I have a few questions about my G5 and a Raid set up. I have the original 1.6 G5 with an 80gb HD. I would like to add an additional SerialATA drive to it. I have never set up a RAID array of any sort. I understand they are beneficial to access time when set up to 'strip' Raid0? This is the primary reason I would do it. If I set up the original and say a 200gb drive with the existing onboard SATA controller I would just format and set it up via the disk utility? How does the RAID work, could I have two or more partitions?

Thanks for any advice!

Pat
