actually, i've found ttp4 very useful for checking hardware, except that the memory
test
always fails at the higher "intensity" on every machine i've tried it on. apple uses a
program called "mac test pro" for testing hardware, but only techs are supposed to have
access to it. other than that i don't know what to say. i also like norton, for
drive
problems but absolutely not for the alleged crash guard or file saver, both of which
are
nothing but trouble. i usually use disk warrior, but if the drive is sufficiently
messed
up norton will fix it when disk warrior won't and i've had to do that once (disk
warrior
flatly reported that there were too many problems and wouldn't try to fix it, after
running norton's disk doctor disk warrior was happy with it again and is definitely the
first thing to try, though disk first aid is also still sometimes needed, at least
under
os 9 and earlier).

the U.S. media is now state controlled! Ask your' local tv station why
the hell they aren't airing the news any more! Our system of government
requires an informed public, with their eyes open.
