I've got a few System Preferences set to show menu items menu bar. I have the Sound volume control, the Monitors control, and MenuMeters CPU/Memory/HD/Network meters, and sometimes Classic status. The MenuMeters works with the Unsanity Menus Extras Enabler which I've used forever without problems.

Recently since 10.3.5 update they all "disappear" if I reboot the machine. They are fine if I simply Logout without restart. I thought it was a permissions problem, but Repair Permissions finds nothing wrong. When I go the the System Preferences and open individual preferences for Sound, Display, MenuMeters after a restart where the menu items are missing, the small check boxes in the preferences are unchecked, and if I check them, the items reappear. So it appears that all these menu item preferences are getting lost or erased together as a group during a restart. Everything seems to work fine otherwise. Any ideas for fixing this so that I don't need to manually reset all these preferences every restart?

Thanks! Kris
