Try warm water, alcohol, or vinegar. It depends on what the ink is based on.
I have an old SW 2500 on my G3 which hasn't been used in awhile. I fired her up a few nights ago and can only print color, though the black cartridge is full. I tried the cleaning routine in the software utility, but is there a better way to clean the printhead ... soaking in water or something?
