Maybe looking in the wrong place at the Adaptec site as the firmware
updates for the 2940U2B are on the Apple support site. Here's the url for
the 1.2 firmware update documentation and software....

I have a 2940U2B in a Sawtooth which shows up in 10.2.8 but I've
never had a drive attached to it so I have no idea whether it works or
not - I'll have to give it a try.
