I have used one of these on both a beige and a G4 DA. It has worked
perfectly for me. The set up is with a web browser, (Mozilla, Safari,
Firefox, Opera or whatever you use) so no pc is needed.

My one recomendation is that you get one that is the same brand as your
802.11 unit if possible, it makes configuration much easier.

I am using the DLink, but Bruce has reported previously that he has had good
luck with the Linksys units as well as the DLink.


I have forgotten most of this thread, but remember, if you are mostly using
the connection for internet connection sharing, original Airport speeds
exceeds the speed of your connection with room to spare. That is unless, of
course, you are Bruce and have access to the Internet II that is in
experimental stages between some Universities.
