Just did an upgrade from X.2.8. to 10.3.2 to 10.3.5 Under Jag the DVD-RAM drive (LF-D110) has been fine. All installs/upgrades from drive went okay. Recently was able to format DVD-RAM under Jag w/o a problem.
Now, under Panther - drive will not format. The dialogue box does come up, but when I choose a name and click "OK", I get: This disk could not be used because the disc drive is not supported. (Error code 0x80020025) What's odd is that I *can* add to previously formatted DVD-RAM disks (!). I just can't format new ones. I see my system being sold with Panther included, and I've not heard of or seen anything about conflicts - let alone solutions.
