I have used Yank 3.0.2 once to remove, hmmm, I think it was an older version
of Stuffit.  It worked well.  The software was recommended by one of the
more knowledgeable members of the Louisville, KY, MacGroup.  It claims to go
and find all of those files that are installed in those who-knows-where
places.

Yank is for OS9.x only, I think.  You could still be using that system on
your older G3, I don't know.  The program is not on the developer's site,
but you could inquire in an email.  The price was $15.
