Following advice received here, I bought the 480B for
my B/W. Installation was a snap, especially with the
install info and modified drivers from
xlr8yourmac.com. The CD burner is fully recognized
and supported by the system.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get Apple DVD
player to work. I tried the original install from OS
9, it couldn't locate the DVD hardware. I then tried
moving to DVD Player 2.7 and using the Patch available
at thinkdifferent and OS9heaven. DVD player now says
that it doesn't have the correct software to launch.

Anyone have any ideas?

TIA,
Nicole
