For instance, right now, the network admin says that the Windows 2000 server is configured to allow FTP access (actually after I protested when they tried to make it FrontPage access only). But for some reason, FTP only works from the Windows machines on the network and not the Macs. We tried Fetch, CuteFTP, FTP through Dreamweaver and get various, "no directory"-type errors.
Try switching from Active to Passive mode or vice versa.
If that doesnt work, so us the transcript from the failed FTP session.
Which brings me to my main question, is there a good listserv for this type of problem? A listserv for lone Macs on Windows networks with admins who don't know Macs?
