Dear G-List:
I am wondering if the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition 128MB AGP 8X will work in an older Power Mac G4,
specifically a 466MHz model.
Roland :)
Theoretically you could, but it would be overkill IMHO. That is far too much graphics processor for your main processor. In my old DP450 Sawtooth, I used a Radeon 9000 and it was a good fit. You can get them on eBay for fairtly reasonable prices.

Now that Radeon 9800 would be sweet in my new G5. Anybody got an extra $350 hanging around? <g>
