I have a B&W G3, Rev. 2 450MHz That has been OC'ed to 500MHz. It's got 512MB of memory, a 40GB 7200 RPM Disk drive, and OS-X.3.5. It runs the Rev. 2 ATI Rage video card. But I ~just~ ordered the new ATI Radeon 9200 PCI card from Apple's website.

I'm considering a G4 upgrade to it. I'm thinking 700 MHz. I don't want to go to 1GHz or 800MHz because I don't want to decrease my FSB speed. The primary application for this system is going to be: Playing Warcraft III, Print Server, iTunes Music server, and possibly other piddily things like that. I'm not exactly sure why I want to preform the upgrade, it just makes sense since I've just invested all that money in it's video card and the such.

It's not like it's my main machine. I use a 1.25GHz eMac as my main machine and I use a 6500/G3 400 for my other machine. and then an iBookG4 1GHz for my portable needs. So it's not exactly like I really care about the machine. I just want it to be the best it can be.

I know I know it's all a horrible waste and what not... I don't really care. In fact I only really have these macs because I like the superior hardware design.

I just ordered a new iMac G5 It'll probably get neglected for a long time too. I only really use the machines for e-mail and web browsing.

Anyways what's your guy's suggestion for the processor? Thanx!
