Hi all,
I googled for Norton Shell Removal but got zilch ...
Where can I get that tool? I managed to remove DiskDoctor
and startup of my beige is as fast as before w/o
additional messages caused by an invisible FileSaver.
But I kept NAV and performed a virus scan of a 8 gig
partition w/o decompressing compressed files which took
48 hours on my 300 MHz beige!! So I'd like to get rid of
NAV, too.
I installed Norton SystemWorks because it helped me a lot
in the past using up to OS9. I think DiskDoctor got a bad
name when the Performas with the first IDE-interface came
out. I had installed the new Performa 630 of a friend and
did a final DiskDoctor check when DD told me something
needed to be fixed. I said OK and presto: the harddisk of
the 630 went away. Luckily I had a removable SCSI-disk
with everything on it and could reinstall everything ...
So where is that Norton Shell Removal for OSX?
