correct, hollywood or some other idiots harassed apple and apple/drive makers have diddled with the driver/firmware producing this bogus error message when it thinks you are making a copy. it's really obnoxious since it suggest that another attempt might work rather than being honest and letting you know it thinks you are making a copy. by the way, it is in fact legal to make copies of anything you own, it's called fair use and is well established in copyright law. unfortunately holly wood is full of greedy morons who think making it hard for users will help them when the real bootleg problem comes from china and organized pirates who still have no difficulty in making bootlegs, the stupid "copy protection" only serves to inconvenience the legitimate user or perhaps the home bootlegger making a couple of illegal copies while doing nothing to discourage the big guys who are the real problem.
