Hi I have a G3 Beige which I have been running on 10.2.3 and I tried to upgrade to 10.2.8 with disastrous results.
I want to use the machine as a web server and I think I might have better security if I was on 10.2.8. When I had 10.2.8 on the machine it was kind of crashy and after I had all the security updates added I could not get the terminal program to open.
Has anyone had success running 10.2.8 on a G3 beige?
Any other suggestions on the web server?
I have one that is happy as a pig in the mud with .2.8 but another that doesn't like anything beyond .2.6
If it's beige running X your mileage _will_ vary! --
