Aaron says: >Well, I like Entourage 2004. Works great. Just for reference the user information is always located under documents. The folder to look is Microsoft User Data. In that folder you will find another folder called Office 2001 Identities for Office 2001 or Office 2004 Identities for Office 2004. in that folder you will find another folder called Main Identity. This is where your Entourage Database resides. This is the folder to back up.
I'm glad you finally got things straighten out.> Yeah, my wife really seems to like it. Too bad I am the one who always had to trouble- shoot it, though. We always had problems with Office 2001 on her imac for some reason and there were documented issues. I thought there might have been corruption from the install CD so going to OS X and Office X seemed a good solution. But here the solution from Microsoft required me to reinstall the (suspect) Office 2001 on the new clean 9.2.2 just in order to allow the import. Now I must uninstall it. Pretty dumb considering I had two bootable copies of her entire hard drive backed up and able to launch the old Entourage from. But it would not import or export from that. Mike >>Hey I'm talking to myself again. This semi correct piece of microcrap help finally worked. I had to use it as a very rough guideline as it seemed like the person that wrote it has never seen a Mac OS. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311591 In case anyone but me cares. I don't know why my wife insists on using Entourage. She just started some time ago and never changed. Mike>> -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
