The card is a UL2D Atto/OEM Apple card. I just booted from an internal 1 Gig
50 Pin Apple Drive into Mac OS 9.1 without any problems. The card seems to
work great. I had to use a 68 to 50 pin converter.

The drive appears on my Mac OS X 10.3.5 desktop. I think I'm in luck.

Just a quick second question

Do you recommend 80 MB/sec SCSI on a B&W or a SATA controller. I plan on
picking up a 72Gig 10,000 RPM Hard Drive. SCSI or SATA. I would like to rip
DVDs a little faster on my B&W Mac with a G-4 500Mhz. I really think the
onboard UDMA33 IDE controller is my current bottle neck.

Suggestions?

BTW

I must try very hard not to post to the MAC vs Windows Thread. Even the
threat of a BAN from Kyle is not enough! I really really really really hate
........... And it is obvious why I use a mac.

>Just picked up an ATTO LVD/SE ultra scsi card. Not the 160 or 320 card. It
has firmware version 1.6.4f according to apple profile. The card is
identified as a ExpressPCIproUL2D.
I am running mac os x 10.3.5. Can I boot a B&W rev 2 from this scsi card?
