Just my two cents here -- In my several months on this list so far, I've never once seen a sig line I've found offensive. Not even ones like Scott Birdwell's for his wine and beer supplies.
If you ask me, a sig line ad is far less intrusive or disruptive IMO than those blaring flashing ads on the web that take forever to load on my dialup connection (so therefore interfere with my Internet experience), a lot less irritating than spam which sometimes makes me have to add new parameters to my "mail actions" to filter out new ones, and, as someone already pointed out, if someone's sig line has a link to his or her store which sells things I don't need and am not interested in, I don't have to go there. ~Yersinia. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
