Thanks your input... That is pretty much what I have decide to do is upgrade his Board with a Powerlogix G3 1ghz which OWC has for $249. H e really does not do much withPhotoshop mostly MS Word, Excel and Filemaker Pro. I thought about the G4 conversion, but for the price that G3 board would give his machine good performance and he siad he would go to OSX.3..

I run 10.3.6 on Bruce (my B&W) and it just rocks. I keep Safari and Firefox for my browsers and have no complaints.
