Bonnie:
Didn't your G5 come with the Setup Assistant? It will transfer EVERYTHING (including keychain) over to your new Mac. Look in Applications/Utilities/Setup Assistant. If you don't have it, contact me off list and I would be more than willing to send it to you. You shouldn't have to go through all of that trouble......oh, does your old G3 have firewire? If the answer is no, then none of what I said applies and I have no idea except I seem to remember something about being able to import a keychain using the Keychain Access utility in Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access...that might work for you too.

I'm moving my stuff from my old G3 (10.2.8) to the new G5 (10.3). I seem to have almost everything done except for getting my old keychain into the new one. I tried both drag and drop (which has worked for me before) and import. When I try to import it asks for a keychain password and then tells me it is the wrong password. How do I get my (rather extensive) keychain back?

Thanks,
