It is not pretty when it happens, but it does not happen often.
How much ram you running in that puppy? Mine runs 24/7 with only 2 GB running quite a few different graphics programs as well as heavy gaming. The only crashes I get are app crashes (rarely) where I have to force quit and keep going.....
