Two more questions... I've got a Yamaha Firewire CD burner, and ever since I've had it, my machine (B&W) would only recognize one CD drive, either that one, or the internal one, at a time. Usually it's been pretty good at picking the burner, but recently (I think since I had a disc I needed to use a paperclip to eject) it's been refusing to detect that one, no matter how many reboots, only the internal one. Which is a bit irritating.
How can I fix this? Also, the general consensus seems to be that if you upgrade the video card in a B&W, you get a Radeon 7000, right? What's the cost difference between the Mac and PC versions, and is it really worth the hassle (for someone that's not the programmer type ) to flash a PC one to make it work? How big is the performance improvement? Thanks! -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
