Maxell and Fuji I belive are very good.  My friend who deals with DVD 
duplication would know, lol, he always uses Apples whenever possible.  
IMHO though just make sure you're with a good name brand, i.e. Fuji, 
Maxell, Sony, TDK.
When it comes to DVD-R, all discs are not the same.  CD-Rs, you're 
almost always fine, I can use some crazy imported brand that costs $30 
for 100 discs and be fine, but with DVD-Rs it's an entirely different 
story.
