I installed X-11 on my G5 iMac and downloaded Gimp. It "does" work and do everything that Photoshop will do but very slowly. The slowness is maddening. The original poster could just get away with buying the upgrade (a lot less than the full install)....though the price that Kyle is asking for what he posted on the swap list is VERY GENEROUS.
