Have you checked the ethernet connection? Using DHCP causes the system
to also pause for a period of time where it does nothing at all like it
has either locked up or froze then it suddenly comes back to the finder
or what ever you have been doing. I have a REV 1 & 2 Blue & White and
running 9.2.2 & 10.2.8 400mhz 512MB ram and they don't pause the way
you describe it.
