Because when I called Symantec for support I got a dude in Calcutta that didn't speak much English. Same with Compaq and HP and .....
I put the disclaimer in there just to quell sophomoric replies like yours...but still they come.

What you call 'sophmoric replies' are very justified and I hope there will be more of them. In my short time with the Mac community, I have found them very supportive and understanding. Explosive statements such as were in the original post don't have a place here, at least in my opinion, but I stand to be corrected. What does everyone else think?
