I have a B&W that came with a unknown brand "Twin Turbo 128" with ROM revision 3.7 video card. Panther would not install for anything.

I just gave up. Then I recently picked up a Sawtooth with a Rage 128 AGP AND a Rage 128 PCI. I put the PCI Rage in the B&W and Panther installed flawlessly.

So, yes, I think video cards will hold up OSX installs. Even though the card did work with 10.2.8 from previous owner.

Hey:

Does anyone know if a PCI video card is required to get X.3 running with
XPostFacto on a G3 equipped 7500? Mine has 4 meg on board VRAM. I have an
ATI Xclaim 8meg "VRPro? I could put in would that help?

Thanks,
Gareth
