Yeah. A G4 as fast or faster than the G3 will make a big difference if you do any audio or video work. Photoshop or other graphics programs will flow as slickly as oil on ice.


I've noticed a big difference in the time it takes to render DV to MPEG 2 DVD. Also, taking a DVD and compressing it to MPEG4 seems to be substantially quicker.
