There are touchscreens available for Macs right now, no need to hack linux drivers.

Ford and...um, what's the Japanese partner that went in with Ford to create
Saturn?...certainly have the bucks to blow on a 17" iMac G5 for such an
application. However, The Rest Of Us (tm) don't usually.

Saturn is wholly owned by GM. GM has partnered with Mitsubishi and Suzuki in the past, but not involving Saturn.



I can't get past the waste of such a powerful, cool computer in such a lowly
use, dammit...



They're using it to help sell cars costing between $13,000-$25,000 dollars. $2k against that is nothing. Especially when you get to extend the iPod halo...note the person didn't identify it as a Mac, just 'really cool'
