OK, folks I know that this is a heap o' work, but highlight the parts of the original message that you want quoted, then hit reply.
Go to the bottom of the quoted text, click once to move the cursor then hit return. You're ready to rock and roll with your reply. AND IT'S BOTTOM POSTED without all of the superfluous BS that so many of you are cluttering up the list with these days.
This takes about 3 or 4 seconds longer than just hitting reply. I know that many of you won't have the time for this, however.
If you're in digest mode, don't forget to change the subject line to what you're replying to.
