I am thinking of going from my MDD 2x1GHz with 4 drives
and switching to a 12" *Book with AirPort and using a B&W
with an ATA card for my drives.

I have asked some specific questions before, but this topic
concerns the setup choice as a whole, so any opinions or
suggestions are appreciated. :o)

The B&W would have around 1GB of RAM, one main OS drive
and four 120GB disks connected to a PCI card and just be on
all the time, possibly also used as a Carracho server and eventually
a web server (when I get time).

I feel that the MDD 2x1GHz is overkill (and financially silly) as
well as limited as I have to sit in the study, the *Book (haven't
decided between iBook or AlBook) will allow full mobility.

B&W G3 300 rev. 1 (the ATA card solves the IDE bug) and I can
use it in OS 9 to scan on my old (but top end) AGFA scanner.

Any thoughts ?

Larry
