My wife has an original 300mhz 3gig usb 288meg ram clamshell running 9.2 (her xmas gift from me.) She wants to use iPhoto. Has anyone installed Panther on such a machine? Is it useable? How much useable drive is left after a full Panther and a full bootable 9.2 is left? Rich ------------------------------------------------------- I installed Panther on a clamshell iBook similar to yours except that I upgraded the hard drive. 3 GB is very little space for Panther even after you run Delocalizer to remove extra languages. You can do it but you might be cramped for space. I haven't used Panther on the iBook to much but while it is a little slow, I had no problems with it. I would also recommend replacing the 256MB ram chip with a 512 as that will help a lot. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
