I haven't yet installed Firefox (downloaded it). I've heard nothing but compliments by my PC friends. Knowing I use a Mac my friend told me "its available for mac too, you should get it"
Anyone in the list has run it and can tell me if its really as good as they picture it (at least for the mac). To me IE is terrible, Netscape is not that great, and Safari doesn't yet convince me.

I use Firefox as my default browser on all my machines that can run it. Everthing else gets an older version of Mozilla. I refuse to use Internet Exploder, and for me (on my lousy 28.8 connection), Firefox is way faster than Safari. I like Netscape too, but Firefox seems to have less bloat and just the features I need.

Firefox is now my default as well. Seems quicker and more stable than others I've tried, with possible exception of Camino - but I don't care for how it (and Safari) handles bookmarks. HUGE improvement over Exploder (get OFF my hard drive - thank you very much!), and I really like its overal feature set - especially tabs and popup blocking.

FWIW, I've also switched to Thunderbird from Apple's Mail.
