Well Eagle, I have a G3 MiniTower and had problems installing OS9 too. So I
went to the Old World helper:

Yes I know the G3 MT is not on the compatibility list but OS9 wouldn't
install so I said what the heck and it worked great. So if all else fails,
give it a shot! I still cannot install OSX even with XPostFacto, I give it a
try about once a month but so far no good. One of these days...
