Hi Bruce and gang, My G3 Mac w. Sonnet 1 GHz G4 board did not allow posts. I thankfully got off line help from Bruce. Alas but no solution. Maybe after reformatting 2 -40 GB IBM DeskStar HDs, I might have a better system. Both drives gave kernel panics now and then. I backed up everything after working on the disks with DW and TTP. I used Silverkeeper 1.1.2 for the backup on La Cie external FireWire HD. The software is easy to use and free from the La Cie site. Backup is under way and this message was composed to a degree on Earthlink’s Web mail utility. Hopefully this will get posted. Eric G3 Mac w.
