Even easier, if you have OS X Panther installed then in the Classic System Preferences there's an option to show the status of Classic in the Menu Bar. What it also shows then is the Apple Menu of the selected Classic System Folder. If you drop some aliasses in that folder, you'll have access to them via the Menu Bar :)
