Tried to get my new to me macs up and running today, the 7600 came up fine, the G3 did not, there was no beep, but the mac face showed up and then said loading 9.2 then the first icon showed up on the lower left of the screen and then a blank rectangular box appears and the loading stops. What could it be?
Extension conflict seems likely. Can you start it while holding down the shift key to disable extensions? You can then disable the next extension to load after the one you saw and try again.
