True, but only a few memory controllers that are paired with 32 bit
processers can address this much RAM, and *none* of them are Macs. All
high-end PC mobos.

I had a DP Sawtooth (AKA "Mystic"), and it wasn't very fussy when it
came to RAM. It even read PC133 sticks that claimed not to be
backward-compatible with PC100 (which it had). Single sided or double
sided sticks didn't seem to matter either, but it didn't like the
pin-out of the sticks designed for Beige and BW G3s, and they wouldn't
register at all.

None of these machines will address more than 512mb per stick though...
