I have been running SETI @ HOME for years and have completed 2103 units, and have never had any problem to speak of, except maybe when their server won't accept my completed packet of data.

Congratulations on your G5 2.5 Ghz DP machine. Just out of curiosity... how much ram do you have in your machine?

Why don't you leave your computer run 24/7?

May I also ask you how long it takes you to complete a packet of data?
