Someone will surely answer this definitively, but I'm pretty sure that airport cards won't work at all. If you go with some of the G cards you can use the airport software and don't need any kind of different driver. Just plug in a go. I use this Linksys card:

and it works great. I think they're $49 in the store, although I bought mine for the same price with a $10.00 rebate at Radio shack.

There is another option... you can get a USB wireless transceiver that can talk to your wireless router. Works great for me on my B&W.
