PC100 or PC133 backward compatible it doesn1t matter. I think the original

mobo used PC66. 


If you1re purchasing new, I1d get the PC133 so you can use it in a G4 if you

However.....
If using 256 MB memory boards they need to have 8 memory chips on each side 
of the board (16 total). They cannot be high density boards with only 8 chips, 
all on one side.
High density memory will only be seen as 128 MB boards by G3 memory 
controller.
Been there done that :-(
