Looks like you've got a corrupted download, or you'll have to get a newer version of Stuffit Expander. Because after you expand the file mozilla-macos9-1.2.1-full.bin you will get a folder called 'Mozilla Full Installer' (which is 15+MB) with the contents 'Mozilla Installer', 'Installer Modules' and 'License', and not the folder like you said. BTW you do now that you need Stuffit Expander to expand the file mozilla-macos9-1.2.1-full.bin, right? Perhaps you have to get a newer version of Stuffit Expander. Then goto http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macos/19075. On topic, here's my 2 cents: The browser I always use in OS X is Firefox, at work and at home. It works with almost all sites, and IMHO is a bit faster than Safari, which is my second choice for an OS X browser. FYI: to set your preferred browser in OS X: you can find that option in the preferences of Safari. In OS 9, which we still use a lot at work, I'm using the Mozilla 1.3.1 built (http://www.t3.rim.or.jp/%7Eharunaga/mozilla-macos9/). At work I used to use Netscape 4.7, and later on Netscape 7.01 for internet and email, but since I discovered this Mozilla built a few weeks ago I'm sticking with it. It loads pages *much* faster than Netscape 7.01 which is really a relief. One thing that does not work which I discovered today is that it doesn't work with Java based sites, but I can live with that. For testing purposed I still used Netscape 7.01 for my email for a while, and the 1.3.1 Mozilla built for internet, I just switched profiles. But unfortunately last week my bloody unit manager booted my Mac and selected the OS X Netboot startup option and unknowingly formatted my OS 9 data partition so I lost all my files including my Netscape email. Getting to the point: I only installed the Mozilla 1.3.1 built which I'm using right now to type this email. * * -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
