Hi all.
I have a 40gig 3G ipod in windows format, which I
bought off ebay for a reasonable sum. I'm currently
using it with iTunes 4.7 on a beige g3 minitower
running Jaguar. It works pretty well. However, it
took me nearly 2 hours to update 2,500 mp3 files via a
PCI firewire card.
Today, I updated the ipod software (2.1 to 2.2) and
took the opportunity to reformat it to a mac format
ipod. Amazingly it now updates 2,500 files in a mere
20 minutes!!
No contest methinx.
