Hello,
I have a G3-mt computer using OS 10.2.8 and I'm thinking of moving to a used G4. What should I get for persomal use, a PowerMac, iMac, eMac?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

What do you want to do with it?

Don't forget: for about $500 you can get a new Mini that will outdo most anything you can get for that price or more on the used market. (which will include most everything G4 and up...) Getting something that costs less up to the standards of a mini will cost more than just getting a mini, so unless you need expansion slots, (which rules out eMacs and iMacs) or fast HDD's (the drive in a Mini is relatively slow, though I'm really pressed to say it's as mnuch of a bottleneck of the system that many people portray it as), or the desire to put a bunch of hdd's into a system (which also rules out an eMac or iMac) I say go for a Mini.

I will use it for ordinary things, keeping finances, internet, email, digital camera pictures, writing letters. As you can see, I don't do anything elaborate.
