Youre not losing the conversation, you just have more to learn about the architecture of computers. The Sawtooth has a 100MHz bus, which is 128 bits wide. The PCI slots are 33MHz, and 64 bits wide. The IDE interface is 66MB/s. They have nothing to do with each other. Only memory has any relationship with bus speed (and usually the processor).
