Seeing as we've been discussing OS X commands and lack of,
I thought I'd mention the advantage Windoze has over OS X.

Creating an alias (shortcut) to a file/folder on a disk where one
can't first create the alias and then copy it to a different disk,
e.g. the Drop Box folder on a Mac where one has no privs.

On a PC one right click/drags from the file/folder to where one
wants the alias to be, but there is no drag/dropping with contextual
menus on the Mac...

Or is there a third party mod ?
