Well, it wouldn't be so bad if they actually had a point, but most of the time it's "I can't use my little quirky freeware OS 9 system mod" or "I don't understand this or that and therefore it's crap"...

That's the impression I get too, but I don't really have much experience in OS 9. Most of my "classic Mac OS" experience is on my toys - Plus, SE, SE/30 type stuff, and those run System 6-7. I do have a Beige G3 on which I run OS 9, but that's just because LocalTalk Bridge requires OS 9... I use the bridge to access my Compacts. :)


Like I often say, you don't have to understand the Otto-cycle in
