Well you are exactly right, Are! My B&W was acting real cranky and I noticed that the time and all were off. So I ran right to Radio Shack and got a 3.6V battery, and things look real good! A lot of weird problems are history (fingers and toes crossed). This is a good thing! $15 is a bit steep for the battery, you can get them for $4.99 on the internet, then again shipping!
