[G] Pop up ads in Firefox 1.0.1

Ever since I upgraded my copy of  Firefox to 1.0.1 I keep getting popup 
ads even though the 'Block Popup Windows' has been checked. I'm 
beginning to favor Firefox over Safari and now this....
Nothing serious but it sure is annoying.
Any ideas anyone?
